Bishop Duffy has Appointed three new Canons for the diocese:

The Very Rev Canon Liam MacDaid, Adm Tyholland

The Very Rev Canon John McCabe PP, VF Castleblaney

The Very Rev Canon Larry Duffy PP, VF Clones

A chapter of canons, whether catherdal or collegiate, is a college of priests, whose role is to

celebrate the more solemn liturgical functions in the cathedral or a collegiate church.
