Session One – PRAYER
In this session we explore prayer. Prayer is an essential foundation for any Christian, and it’s incredibly important for times of discovery and learning – like preparation for Confirmation. We have some handy tips for you to unlock the beauty of prayer in your life.
Session Two – THE SACRAMENTS
What are the Sacraments? Why are they so important? The Sacraments mark key moments on your journey of faith. In the Sacraments heaven touches earth in a special way – from your Baptism, First Holy Communion and yes if you decide to become a Priest or join a Religious Order, or even get married. Your Parish is key to all of this. We need community – and your Parish needs you!
Session Three – BAPTISM AND CONFIRMATION
We can see many links between Baptism and Confirmation, these two Sacraments of Initiation, and in this session we explore the key symbols that are shared between the two. Let’s remember the moment of your Baptism and look ahead to Confirmation.
Session Four – GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
Together we open up the gifts of the Holy Spirit and uncover what God has in store for you after Confirmation. The gifts of the Holy Spirit are called down upon you in a special way at your Confirmation – so let’s get ready!

Session Five – FRUITS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
There are many, many, fruits of the Holy Spirit – in this session we focus on the nine we hear about in the Bible. The fruits grow in our lives when we use the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Let’s unpack the fruits and begin to see the difference the Holy Sprit can make to our lives when we say yes to Him.
Session Six – PRACTICALITIES
The Rite of Confirmation is special. There are key symbols and prayers that help us to understand what is inwardly happening to us. We’ve got some handy insight into what you can expect on the day of your Confirmation and ways you can help prepare.
