IMPENDING APPOINTMENT OF NEW PP OF CARRICKMACROSS ANNOUNCED

Monsignor Joseph McGuinness.

The Diocese of Clogher announces today that, following the forthcoming ordination of Bishop-Elect Larry Duffy on Sunday 10 February 2019, Monsignor Joseph McGuinness will take up the position of Parish Priest of Carrickmacross (Machaire Rois), Co Monaghan, in succession to Mgr Duffy.

Mgr McGuinness is currently the Diocesan Administrator of Clogher and Administrator of the Parish of Tyholland.

  3. Monsignor Larry Duffy PP, Carrickmacross, is the Bishop-elect of Clogher. He will be ordained bishop on Sunday 10 February 2019. He has been Parish Priest of Carrickmacross since September 2013.
