Prayer to St Joseph the Worker

Dear St Joseph, kind and loving Father, you are always helpful to those in need.

I come before you in sincerity of heart.

Listen kindly to my prayer and obtain for me the favours I ask.

(Pause and make your petition)

Through your powerful protection bless the unfolding journey of my life.

Grant me patience, wisdom, healing and encouragement.

Give me courage that I may stand secure and face the challenges of life. Shelter me in times of difficulty.

Help me to admit when I am wrong and when necessary gently lead me towards a new beginning.

Grant me health of mind, body and spirit, so that I may contribute to the world and enjoy my one precious life.

Obtain for those who have asked my prayer, God’s blessing and protection.

Glory be to the Father …
